RENEGADES AT GMHL ENTRY DRAFT

On May 15th, the North York Renegades took part in the 2016 Greater Metro Hockey League draft with selecting eight forwards, three goaltenders and one defenseman.

With their first overall selection, the Renegades chose Brendan Jacome who played the 2015 – 2016 season with the Georgetown Raiders of the Ontario Junior Hockey League. The 5’9” and 160 lbs forward sunk 32 goals and had 26 assists 53 regular season games with the Raiders. In the 2016 post – season, the 20 year old Caledon, Ontario native scored 14 goals and added another 14 assists in 22 play – off matches.
