North York, Ontario

He is just 16 years of age, but power forward Connor Kearney is one of the shining high profile prospects in the North York Renegades system. At 6'2", 200lbs Kearny is earning a repuation as one of the elite young forwards in the GMHL's South Division.

His three point night against the Toronto Predators was another example of Kearney's young skill.

Despite losing the match 7-3, Kearney contributed points on all three goals and was a force.

Kearney was acquired mid season from the Toronto Attack, where he was a underused asset of the veteran Attack club. In 18 games, Connor has 24 points (9g, 15a) and playing top line minutes for the club.

Catch Kearney and the rest of the Renegades January 23rd when they travel to Thornhill to take on the Blue Ice Jets.
