North York is rising in the standings and ready for a strong push ahead of the 2018 Russell Cup Playoffs. The team has made it known their intentions are to compete with the league's best to push out of the GMHL's South Division.

Sitting fourth place in the ultra competitive South, the Renegades sport a strong 22-6-2 record heading into the 2018  calendar year.

Goaltender Evan Purdy will be relied upon heavily, as he has all; season. Up front, the club is lead by power forward Chris Martin with an impressive 36 goals, 57 points on the year.

First game back from the break will be Sunday, January 7th on the road in Niagara playing the Whalers.
