Coming off a 6 – 2 in North York, Ontario on January 20th over the Northumberland Stars, the fourth place North York Renegades were back in action 24 hours later when they traveled to St. George to meet the first place Ravens in a south division regular season match – up at the South Dumfries Community Centre.

On Sunday evening, the Renegades fell to the Ravens in a 7 – 2 loss with Renegade Chris Martin scoring a first period power play goal with Troy Murray adding the assist on Martin’s goal. In the second, Nevin Guenther sank the only other goal on a power play for North York with Jonathan Schillaci drawing the helper on Guenther’s goal. Netminders Evan Purdy and Joseph Pearce turned away a combined 47 of 54 goals in North York’s loss in St. George.

The Renegades next opponents will be the fifth place Bradford Bulls in North York on January 27th in a 4:45 p.m puck drop.
