RENEGADES SIGN THREE FREE AGENTS

The North York Renegades have been busy building their 2016-2017 roster through the draft and free agency. Three players have signed the dotted line to begin the building of this year's impressive roster.

The first is NOJHL veteran forward Marco Luciani from Maple, Ontario. Marco is a small skilled forward dangerous from the blue line in. Luciani stands 5'8" having played 83 games in the NOJHL through the last two seasons. As a overage player, Luciani will be a big piece up front for the Renegades. Marco is a product of the Mississauga Reps AAA organization and also spent time in Jr. C.

Patrik Zilak is a overage forward from the Czech Republic. Patrik has spent the last few seasons in Canada, most recently in the GOJHL as a regular with the Brampton Bombers. In 49 games last season the Jr. B player had 21 points. Zilak played his minor hockey with the PEAC Piranhas U18 back when the program was considered a top level Canadian prep school.

Young forward Alex Noble will be making his junior debut this season. The rookie defenceman comes from the Markham Islanders AA program. The local will develop with the Renegades as a rookie.
