N.Y. BREAKS STREAK WITH WIN OVER NIAGARA

The North York Renegades finally put everything they have worked to together. The club defeated the heavily favoured Niagara Whalers 6-4 final, proving to the entire league that they are now a team to compete with.

It was a solid team effort from everybody which lead to the victory. Up front, Connor Kearney had a shining two goal performance. In goal, Alex Lepore had one of his best games of the season making 40 saves in the game.

Also finding the back of the net included: Horner, Silva, Monaghan and Georgopoulos.

It was a big momentum game for the club. When a club is on a losing streak, often there will be a few games in a row that they should have won before they break out of it. This victory was truley a progression of consistent and complete efforts through the month of November and now gives the club confidence heading into next week match against Halton on home ice.

Norht York historically plays very well against the Ravens and will look to take the match on Saturday at 7:45pm at home.
